OUR RESIDENTS THRIVE IN OUR COMMUNITY

IT’S NO SECRET that as soon as you move to Primrose you’ll find yourself quite busy. There’s catching up with old friends that already here and getting to know new ones, plus a Wii Bowling league, a book club, live entertainment, card games, and the list goes on.

Being social is a big part of our community, and living in our gorgeous apartment homes puts you near the center of the action helping you grow into your new lifestyle at Primrose. It’s entirely up to you how busy you want to be. Where else can you stroll from your apartment to the Bistro for the coffee klatsch meeting in the middle of winter in your slippers?

Providing an enriching retirement experience means learning about you as a person, what concerns you have, and how you want to live your retirement years. That’s where our excellent staff becomes involved.

We are certain you’ll appreciate our on-site 24/7 nursing staff. They provide regular wellness checks and can assist with most of the activities of daily living that you request.

Our housekeeping team takes pride in regularly keeping your apartment home tidy. Laundry services are provided and there are hookups available, too.

Primrose provides the ideal maintenance-free lifestyle as we take care of everything from the heavy lifting of snow removal to the seemingly simple task of replacing lightbulbs.

Our skilled kitchen staff provide three mouth-watering, home-made meals every day, but you already knew that. We invite you to test their culinary skills during your tour.

Special ‘hats off’ to our Life Enrichment Coordinators who plan exciting, engaging and entertaining activities. Whether it’s an exercise session in our Wellness Center or an escapade into the greater Grand Island area, you’ll find our Coordinators to be a valuable resource toward enjoying your retirement at Primrose.

Convenience, comfort, safety and security — it’s why our residents thrive at Primrose. Stop by for a tour today!

What Our Residents Have to Say:

  • We have lived with our dog Duke at Primrose since it has opened about 3 years ago. Being able to live in our home for many years was a gift but we knew that it was time to downsize and move to a smaller home. What we enjoy most here at Primrose is being part of a community. The people are wonderful, the activities are both educational and fun, and the food is amazing! Living so close to people keeps us both healthier and happier. We can come and go as we please, and take part in the activities that we wish to do. I think the advice I would give to others that are thinking about moving is to stop thinking about it. Moving to Primrose was the best thing that we have ever decided to do!

  • I lived here since they opened in 2018. Professionally I did a lot of clerical work for the city, county, and state. When I was younger I worked at Moon Beach Church Camp, where my parents were camp cooks. I also enjoyed playing the ukulele while my Mom played the piano at the camp. After my husband passed away my place was too big for just me and I needed to downsize. Although I was apprehensive to move, being alone was lonely and I needed to be around people. People are kind here and like a family. I look forward to simple things here like coffee time in the morning, the noon meal, and Happy Hour! There is always so much going on from ice cream socials, book club, and bridge, to just simply walking outside. A little secret that I want to share with the world… the staff is awesome, they really care!

  • Primrose is a high quality residence where my grandmother currently lives. I’ve enjoyed my visits and my Grandma loves the environment and community, participating in many of its activities. The location is clean and the team there seems very friendly and caring. The pub is very cool and we’ve had impromptu family gatherings there.
