Primrose of Zanesville Executive Director Honored with Prestigious Women of Achievement Award
ZANESVILLE, OH — Primrose Retirement Community of Zanesville is proud to announce that Executive Director Katie Ware has been honored with the Ethel Granger Shultz Young Adult Award by the Women of Achievement organization earlier this year. This prestigious award recognizes women ages 22–35 who exemplify the spirit of citizenship and community leadership.

Katie was nominated by two individuals, including the daughter of a current Primrose resident, a testament to the meaningful impact she has made within the community. The award is part of an annual recognition by Women of Achievement, which celebrates eight outstanding women across various categories in Zanesville.
Adding a heartfelt layer to this achievement, Katie’s grandmother was also a recipient of a Women of Achievement award in 2007, receiving the Muskingum Family & Lifetime Service Award for her decades of volunteer work and dedication to the community. This shared legacy of service highlights the deep roots of compassion and leadership within Katie’s family.
Primrose of Zanesville congratulates Katie on this well-deserved recognition and celebrates the continued impact she makes in the lives of residents, families, and the broader Zanesville community.
