As residents made their way to the Primrose Dining Room they were given Valentines, Flowers, Strawberry Floats and more from the Primrose Staff! We celebrated our very important residents with a romantic lunch of Prime Rib, Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Bacon, and sweet love songs!
  • Valentines Day VIP Lunch- Liz shows off her fabulous Valentines decorations on her front door and the gifts her family brought by to spread the love!   • Celebrating Heart Healthy Month- Residents wore the color Red to lunch on Friday, February 5th to raise awareness of being heart healthy! Bud found the heart healthy tips the residents received just lovely!
  • Having Fun on Groundhog Day!- Life Enrichment Coordinator, Lindsay shows off the edible groundhogs made by the Primrose residents! Residents also watched the movie Groundhog Day and went on a scavenger hunt to find groundhogs all around the building!
  • Goody Bags for Soldiers- Residents gathered to support a local organization, Socks and Cookies, by stuffing goody bags and sweet notes of donated items to be sent overseas to military troops!
  • Juanita's Heart Quilt- Residents gathered to do a fun craft day of drawing on Heart Shaped Rainbow Scratch Paper. During the craft, Juanita brought down her Heart Quilt she had made to inspire other's to have fun with their art and creativity that they do!
  • Bird Seed Feeder Craft Day- Jean had a blast getting her hands messy while creating peanut butter and bird seed feeders for our Primrose Birds to enjoy!
  • 1940s Themed Happy Hour- On Thursday residents enjoyed a 1940s themed Happy Hour with Reminiscing Posters, Swing Band Music, and they each got to fill up their Military MRE boxes with themed snacks and 1940s sweets!

Residents learned about its history and culture and viewed a table of Turkish furniture and pottery from resident's trips to the country. Our awesome Administrative Assistant, Melissa shared about growing up in Turkey when she was younger!

  • Residents spent the month of December reading the book Orphan Train for the Primrose Book Club. On Jan 13th, residents met to not only discuss the monthly book club book but to also learn how an Arkansas resident started a society to reunite orphans with their siblings who were train riders!

Melissa even brought a popular casserole dish that is brought to many Utah gatherings, Funeral Potatoes for all the residents to try!

A delicious lunch of Shrimp Scampi and asparagus, roses and chocolates, musical entertainment of love songs from the 30s and 40s by Elizabeth Bainbridge, and of course a lot of loved shared between our wonderful residents, staff and their families!
  • Sam and Stella toast to a fun activity outing to The Rose antique mall where they were greeted with punch, sweet treats, and take home goody bags! Residents had a great time reminiscing through the antiques and being treated so well by the community!
