VISIT OUR COMMUNITY

The smiling faces, modern amenities, social activities, attentive staff and delicious meals are waiting for you. And when you see our community for the first time, when you smell the fresh baked goods from our kitchen and our staff welcomes you for a tour, you’ll be delighted you came to Primrose.

Once you choose a floor plan and move in and close the door behind you, you’ll experience peace and quiet. Although it’s a boring fact but our flooring — your ceiling, if you have upstairs neighbors — is made of concrete. You won’t hear a thing.

Peace and quiet provide for good rest, and the conveniences we provide allow you to take as much time for yourself as needed. If you need to get out, say, for a haircut…it’s one floor up or just down the hall.

Housekeeping stops by on schedule. Nursing staff attend to any medical needs. Maintenance staff repairs anything that’s misbehaving. And what’s best is that you don’t even have to leave your apartment for any of this to happen, if you choose.

When you do feel like socializing, the sky’s the limit. Primrose hosts in-community events, parties, get-togethers, wellness exercises, general activities, and so much more.

When you develop your pace, you might find that you enjoy volunteering for a good cause. We’d love to help you pursue this interest. Our scheduled transportation can help if you’re volunteering somewhere in Lima. If you have ideas for how to make Primrose better by providing a voluntary service to your fellow residents, we’d love to hear them!

Your being a part of our retirement community adds so much flavor and character and warmth. Your neighbors will appreciate your contributions both socially and personally, and friendships will blossom. Your first week at Primrose is a great time to catch up — it’s quite possible you have friends already here!

We encourage you to read our Senior Living Blog where you’ll find stories about people just like you. Our residents come from every walk of life, and virtually all of them have an interesting story to tell. If you’ve got a life experience that would benefit others, we encourage you to submit an article for our blog. Just ask your Life Enrichment Coordinator.

Our goal from the beginning has been to enrich the lives of seniors, and we invite you to see and explore what we’ve done to attain that goal. We hope you enjoy your visit today and we hope that we’ve answered your questions about the many amenities and services we provide.

Stop by for a visit today!

What Our Residents Have to Say:

  • We have lived with our dog Duke at Primrose since it has opened about 3 years ago. Being able to live in our home for many years was a gift but we knew that it was time to downsize and move to a smaller home. What we enjoy most here at Primrose is being part of a community. The people are wonderful, the activities are both educational and fun, and the food is amazing! Living so close to people keeps us both healthier and happier. We can come and go as we please, and take part in the activities that we wish to do. I think the advice I would give to others that are thinking about moving is to stop thinking about it. Moving to Primrose was the best thing that we have ever decided to do!

  • I lived here since they opened in 2018. Professionally I did a lot of clerical work for the city, county, and state. When I was younger I worked at Moon Beach Church Camp, where my parents were camp cooks. I also enjoyed playing the ukulele while my Mom played the piano at the camp. After my husband passed away my place was too big for just me and I needed to downsize. Although I was apprehensive to move, being alone was lonely and I needed to be around people. People are kind here and like a family. I look forward to simple things here like coffee time in the morning, the noon meal, and Happy Hour! There is always so much going on from ice cream socials, book club, and bridge, to just simply walking outside. A little secret that I want to share with the world… the staff is awesome, they really care!

  • Primrose is a high quality residence where my grandmother currently lives. I’ve enjoyed my visits and my Grandma loves the environment and community, participating in many of its activities. The location is clean and the team there seems very friendly and caring. The pub is very cool and we’ve had impromptu family gatherings there.
