Notes from the Life Enrichment Coordinator

May is the busiest month of the year at Primrose in Bismarck!

We are so excited for all the spring activities we have planned. With a spring snow storm hitting us last month, we are anxious to finally start preparing for summer. We are starting the month off with the Garden Club getting ready for planting season. We have already assigned garden plots, so happy planting! We will also be making up the Birdfeeder craft we missed out on, and starting our outdoor walking schedule.

Nurses Appreciation Week starts on May 5th. We will be hosting a party to thank our nurses for everything they do on Wednesday, May 8th. We will be serving cake and coffee at the party.

The following week is Mother's Day! Our Annual Celebration of Mothers will be held on Tuesday, May 14th! It is our biggest event of the year, and we have fun with it. This year, our entertainment will be an Elvis Impersonator! We will be serving desserts, wine and coffee. Residents will be asked to invite family and friends to share in the fun.

Also, National Armed Forces Day, May 18th, and Memorial Day, May 27th, will keep us busy! Remember to wear red, white, and blue on those days! Please join us for many other activities such as crafts, bingo, church services, musical performances, trips to get groceries, and our May Resident Birthday Party! We also have Catholic Mass and Lutheran services in the Chapel this month. OH!....and don’t forget to make your guess in this month's guessing jar. The winner will be announced on May 17th.
